Read This Year’s Oscar Nominated Feature Scripts!
It’s awards season, and studios have released the scripts for most of this year’s Oscar nominated movies online - which means you have the opportunity to download and read them (at least for the next few weeks)!
Read Everything Everywhere All At Once and understand how this highly visual film works on the page; read Todd Field’s Tár to see how he wrote a screenplay that relies so much on sound and music; or read Triangle of Sadness to learn how Ruben Östlund communicates satire and metaphor. There are endless lessons to be gleaned from reading award-nominated screenplays (or any script for that matter), so find one that inspires you and dive in!
