Read this year’s Oscar Nominated Feature Scripts!

The 97th Academy Awards might have come and gone this past Sunday, but for screenwriters, the real gold isn’t the statues — it’s the scripts.

Every year, studios release the nominated screenplays online (before most quietly take them down a few weeks later). That means now’s your chance to see how Anora works on the page, or how The Brutalist built its intricate character dynamics.

Prefer adaptations? Check out how James Mangold and Jay Cocks tackled Bob Dylan’s life in A Complete Unknown, or how Peter Straughan turned Conclave into a slow-burn thriller. And if animation is your thing, FLOW is a must-read — a 35-page script with no dialogue that still packs an emotional gut punch.

No matter what genre you’re into, great scripts can offer up a lot of inspiration and screenwriting lessons — even for the most seasoned writer. So click on a title, download the script, and dive in!

Below, you’ll find links to this year’s Oscar-nominated screenplays, plus a few other notable scripts from the past year. All winners are marked with **. Enjoy!
